The first official website of Argentinian Thin Man was launched on May 16th, 2004. It was a very simple website created with Microsoft Frontpage. The major contents of the website included news, squad list and a fan gallery. A video of Kim was also available for some time until the website ran out of storage space. The layout of the site was relatively simple: a banner on the top with a menu on the left. The style of the banner and the buttons was changed very soon after the initial launch, but the layout remained the same until the 2nd generation of the website was introduced.
In February, 2005, an attempt on improving the website both content-wise and aesthetically was made. A completely new front page was uploaded; changes included a new banner, an advertising column on the right, a column of sponsors below the menu on the left and a wider overall page width. However, this renovation was not a successful one. All of the features were essentially disabled; the only page created was the front page. The title "The Brand-New Thin Man - Coming Soon..." stayed on the front page for almost 2 years. The ThinMan website was practically shut down for 2 years.
One common feature of the first 2 generations of the website was an index page. The index page for the first generation was a very simple one: the name "Argentinian Thin Man" on top with a logo underneath. Since a ThinMan logo of much higher resolution was made for the 2nd generation website, a much improved index page was created at the same time. However, a lot of visitors of the website do not go through the index page, especially for the supportors who bookmark the website; an index page became surplus for the website. Therefore, in this latest 3rd generation website, the index page is removed.
In February, 2007, the advancement of ThinMan (under the code-name Fake Friend) in Nike Football 5 urged for a renovation of the website. Therefore, a brand-new 3rd generation website was built. With reference to various football team websites, a much more professional-looking website with more complete contents is made. This brand-new homepage of ThinMan was officially launched on February 16th, 2007, with the official domain name ThinManFC.com launched on April 26th, 2007. ThinMan will keep on improving the website to provide you all the latest news about the team.
